Co-authors and business owners Dr. Hilda Villaverde and Mary Beth Stern have spent their life-long careers hearing the voices of other business owners, entrepreneurs and working women. In their most recent book, Living Brave… Women in Business, Compelling Stories of How ONE Can Make a Difference, they have included the voices of nearly 50 local Phoenix female entrepreneurs and business owners. Through a series of twelve questions, the women answer and address the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship and business ownership and offer their candid stories of struggle, success, fear, and bravery. Each woman presents a call to action, inviting the reader to explore, embrace and eventually transform her life to her
own version of what success means to her.
